I'm Beth, an Arkansas native and avid amateur outdoorswoman. I grew up and went to college in Fayetteville, in the northwest corner of the state, and spent many weekends wandering in the hardwood forests of the Ozarks. Ever since my parents were carrying me down the trails in a backpack as a baby, I've been a hopeless lover of the outdoors, and Arkansas holds a special place in my heart.

In 2015 I graduated from the University of Arkansas with a BA in Art History and moved down to Little Rock. I took an office job to pay the bills, but my central passion remains the same-- the outdoors.
I volunteer with the Ozark Highlands Trail Association (ozarkhighlandstrail.com) as a trail steward for part of the Sylamore section, and spend as many hours as I can in the woods and on the rivers enjoying all they have to offer. These places bring me peace and perspective, and I want to help preserve them. When I'm not outdoors, there's a good chance I'm obsessively mapping out my next adventure. Someday I hope to leave the office life behind to devote my time to nature conservation, education and recreation.
